That all sounds wonderful, you could market and sell those cabbards..There is a brand called Uncle Bob’s that is no where near your recipe and they cannot keep them in stock at the IGA’s..

awww, thanks!! Just go plant yourself some chive…it comes back year after year and is so nice to have to run out and cut off with your kitchen scissors to snip onto a baked taters, on top of some deviled eggs, into jarred (or homemade) salsas to spiff up…and the bonus is you’ll get some bloomers too!

I :heart: that tub! I have another one too, but it doesn’t have a stand…I use it for icing stuff down at parties…beverages, jugs o’ pickles, salad dressings, etc.
You’ll have to give me some heads up on your photo shoot visit! So I can de-dust bunny around here…

I adore reading your blog posts and FB comments. This blog post is especially good and no, I have never eaten chive bloomers, but I think I would give them a try after reading about them here. Keep up the good work with your yard work and blog (and the million other things you somehow find time to do)! BTW – I’m with ya on the snakes!

Wendy, I got the blankets out for my babies too the last couple of nights. Didn’t want to lose not one of them to this freeze….The tub you use as a planter is 100 times adorable…i’ll have to head over to your house one day for a shoot…photoshoot, that is.

I’m with you Wendy. I HATE yard work too – don’t like the dirt at all nor do I like sand at the beach. However, you at least LIKE to cook. I don’t like that either. Guess I’m not good for much♥ I do like dirt cake though and I might have to give your recipe a try.
